Business Park
I just wanted to let you know that the City Council approved the Development Agreement for Big Creek Technology Park at their meeting last night. This is very exciting news for Polk City. The approval is the first step in making the business park a reality. Big Creek Technology Park provides needed sites for business to locate. We have prospects that have been eagerly awaiting this development. Stay tuned for more exciting news. Thank you for your help.

This is great, however it has been some time (approx. 1 year) that you have been talking about a grocery store in Polk City, are you moving forward with the technology park and forgetting about the grocery store or what is the status on that?

It is true that I have been talking about a grocery store for over a year. However, it does take a long time for things to happen. During that time we have been negotiating with two different grocers and negotiating on a location at the same time. Please see the upcoming newsletter for more details on this
