New Business Complex
Polk City’s City Council voted on July 16thto sell the lot at 110 West Van Dorn St to RTT Properties for $32,500. The company intends to build a one-story 6,800 square foot space for offices and retail businesses. Teresa Rockwood is a partner in RTT Properties, along with Tom Gratias. The developers will build seven or eight suites in the building, and two of the suites already are pre-leased. The site plan for the building must be approved by the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission. The building is scheduled for completion in early 2008. This is a great start for Polk City’s development efforts. Polk City Development Corporation supported RTT Properties efforts and is working with them to fill the available office space.
